June Volunteer of the Month – Brandon Lewis

Yes, we know it’s October but we’re going to recognize all our past Volunteer of the Months. For June, we’d like to recognize Brandon Lewis. Brandon came to Colorado Youth at Risk (CYAR) in need of volunteer hours for his social work program at Metro State in Denver. He immediately jumped in and helped wherever we needed him and quickly exceeded the required “60 hours” he needed for school. While he has exceeded those required 60 hours he still continues to volunteer on a regular basis.

Brandon has eagerly and willingly helped out with youth enrollment, Friend-raisers’s, advanced mentor training and he has been a constant and steadying force in the Real Talk class, where he connects with the kids in a powerful and authentic way!

No matter what we ask of Brandon he always comes through for CYAR! He is a volunteer super hero and we can never have enough mentors like him! Please join us in thanking Brandon for his great work!
